Dear Geoff,
Thank you for your inquiry about sugar and people with
diabetes.
The sugar contained in worcestershire sauce is insignificant.
People with diabetes can eat your product.
People with diabetes need to consider the salt
content when deciding their usage patterns. In usual,
infrequent use of small amounts as a condiment, your
product poses no problem.
People with diabetes can eat a little sugar.
If people are approaching you with these questions, they probably have
not had expert dietary advice-things have changed in dietary management
of diabetes.
I would be grateful if you could encourage such people to contact a
dietitian here at Diabetes Australia NSW(02 9552 9965) for more
information.
Good luck with your product. It sounds great.
Kind regards,
Nicole Senior
Dietitian-Diabetes Educator.
